Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Western New York ACS Local Section has sponsored a research symposium for undergraduates since 2008.  The event attracts students and research mentors from colleges and universities across New York, as well as from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada

2019, D’Youville College                           Book of Abstracts

The Western New York section of the American Chemical Society held its 12th Undergraduate Research Symposium on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at D’Youville College.

The Symposium was attended by students and faculty from 12 institutions and featured talks and posters on widely ranging research topics.  The event attracted corporate sponsorship from MacMillan Learning and Krackeler Scientific.

The Symposium concluded with a keynote address by Dr. Pablo E. Guzmán, Research Scientist with the Army Research Laboratory, entitled: “Serving the Current and Future Warfighter”
